Advent Tributes and Memorials Instead of decorating the sanctuary with poinsettias, we are asking that you donate $12.00 to honor and/or remember special friends and loved ones. All donations will go to MIFA & MLGW’s Plus One Program and be represented by a lightbulb on the Christmas tree in the narthex. With your $12.00 offering you will be contributing a dollar a month in 2012 to MLGW's program to assist disadvantaged people with their light and heating bills.
For each $12.00 contribution we will hang a ribboned light bulb on the ltrees just inside the sanctuary entrance. Beginning November 13 and continuing through December 11 you can submit the names of the people you want to honor and remember. The Memorials and Honorariums will be published in the Dec. 18th Worship bulletin and in the Christmas Eve bulletin. Deadline for contributions is Wednesday December 13th in the church office.
