Meals on Wheels

Amazingly, our congregation and MIFA were founded in the same year and our route number is #1.  MIFA's Meals on Wheels served 737, 866 meals to 4418 seniors in 2023.  Of those clients, 3140 received home-delivered meals and 1310 were served at congregate sites.  As a result of the program:

• 91% indicate they feel better
• 90% believe this allows them to live in their own home longer

1 in 6 seniors faces the threat of hunger.
